Random Story Sketches (Princess and the Frog) 2008
These are random sketches from the movie in no particular order.
Ray and Tiana searching for Naveen during Mardi Gras.
Louis leading a band toward the Mardi Gras parade.
Louis asks Ray to check his tail, "Is it bleeding?!"
Tiana thinks Naveen betrayed her and is inconsolable.
Ray is visibly wounded when Tiana tells him that his beautiful Evangeline is just a star, not a firefly.

Great boards Toby! Did you draw the Quack Pack model sheets that were printed in the disney magazine years ago?
ReplyDeleteGood eye, Todd. I'd have to see what was printed in the magazine to be sure, but I did do the primary model sheets for Huey, Dewey and Louie. The other models (Daisy, Ken, e.g.) were done by Ritsuko Notani. I'll post the nephew models in the future.

ReplyDeleteYeah they were the model sheets of Huey, Dewey and Louie. The Darkwing model sheets you posted reminded me of them. Anyways yeah if you have them I am sure people would love to see them. The posing on them is amazing.

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting these Toby. Seeing your boards is a great learning tool. I notice you sparingly use color for accenting. The blue tears in Ray's eyes really add to the scene.
