The Pig Who Cried Werewolf (2010) Pt. 5
I seem to remember the script being pretty thin here. Something like -- "Wolfy changes back into maniac Chef and chases Heimlich around the house. Hilarity ensues." I decided to have Heimlich attempt an escape up the chimney. There will be a pay-off for this in the next post.

We call them "panels". It's hard to say. 30 is a good approximation. Thinking time also has to be accounted for; thumb-nailing, research -- napping.;) Panel count per sequence has gone way up since the move to digital drawing. Directors want to see more movement and subtlety in storyboards since the advent of the Digital Slideslow.
The DVD idea is intriguing. Never heard of Gnomon until now.

I'm preparing my portfolio now, I was wondering if you can take a look my storyboard when you are available, and give me some advice whether drawings or story. (I know you are very busy!)
Any kind of advice is helpful!
If I want to apply Dreamworks, should I prepare have more funny story in my portfolio?(I usually choose to board serious story.)

Thank you, Arkady. I did attend CalArts for 3 years a long time ago, after which I was offered a position in the Disney training program headed by the late Eric Larson. I've pick up a lot from my mentors and peers over the years, but make no mistake, self-discovery has been a big part of the journey.
